The start

After winning the University Festival, at the age of 20, he got a call from HBO Latam to start working as editor. Opportunities in Venezuela began to fade, so he went on a backpacking trip through Latin America that landed me in Ecuador and stablished his own production company called Pangea.tv with his wife Silvia.

Specialized

Hernán specialized his cinematography skills at Escuela Nacional de Cine in Bogotá.

From Ecuador, he has lead over 300 productions for clients such as BBC Storyworks, DW, Bloomberg, Amazon Prime Video, Legendary Pictures, SBS Australia and other local brands.
